Flows

A flow is an automatic, step-by-step conversation: a trigger (the word price, a comment or an ad, for example), then messages, buttons, questions, conditions and actions on a visual canvas.

Until then, the written guide is right here: the same text the app's Guide button shows.

When you need it

When you want to automate a fixed path: booking an appointment, answering a price, following up after a purchase, or comment-to-DM.

Step by step

  1. 1

The quickest way: click New flow (gallery), search the gallery (price, booking, order…) and watch the Preview; the preview runs on a test customer and sends nothing.

  2. 2

Use now adds the flow; if something is missing, it stays a draft until you complete it.

  3. 3

To build or edit, first put a trigger on the canvas, then add the next step with + on any output. Click a step to open its settings beside the canvas.

  4. 4

Test runs the flow in the simulator. When it is right, click Publish; each publish is a new version, and conversations already running carry on with theirs.

  5. 5

The switch beside each flow turns it on or off. Unpublished changes means customers still get the previous version.

Common mistakes

  • Steps that no trigger reaches never run; check the Nodes no trigger reaches list.
  • A scheduled marketing flow only reaches people who opted in; it shows how many before you publish.
  • If the flow's test scenarios fail after a change, it warns you before publishing; fix them first.
